SYLMAR, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil and building
construction company, today announced that a joint venture between its
subsidiary, Frontier-Kemper Constructors, and ASL has recently been
awarded a contract by Aecon/SNC-Lavalin Constructors joint venture for
the underground excavation package for the John Hart Generating Station
replacement project in British Columbia.
The Frontier-Kemper/ASL partnership scope of work for the project
involves the excavation of the powerhouse, gate chamber, intake shaft,
power tunnel, tailrace, and various access tunnels. Frontier-Kemper’s
portion of the contract value is approximately CAD$71.5 million.

Frontier-Kemper's work on the project will commence this year and is
scheduled for completion by the end of 2017. The contract value is
expected to be included as part of the Company’s reported first-quarter
2014 backlog.
