Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil and building construction company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Virginia Department of Transportation for the Route 264 Interchange Improvements Project in Norfolk, Virginia . The contract value is approximately $107 million . The project scope of work includes widening the existing I-64 /Route 264 Interchange ramp connectors, construction of four new bridges, a creek realignment and installation of related structures. This project represents the Company’s second highway construction project in the region and is located approximately 10 miles south of the current I-564 Intermodal Connector design-build project, which began construction in 2014. Construction is underway and substantial completion is anticipated by October 2019 . The contract value will be included in the Company’s reported third quarter backlog. Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil and building construction company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by Caruso Affiliated for the construction of a new oceanfront resort, Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito, in Santa Barbara County, California . The project scope of work includes construction of an ultra-luxury resort comprised of multiple one- and two-story buildings, a main building with an oceanfront restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace, a signature restaurant, a Sense® spa, two swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and indoor and outdoor event space, including a 6,000-square-foot ballroom. The property, which is being developed on the site of the original iconic Miramar Hotel, will feature 161 ultra-luxury guestrooms, including one-story cottages and bungalows and two-story lanais. Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil and building construction company, announced today that its subsidiary, Rudolph and Sletten , has been awarded a design-build contract by the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), for the construction of a new Precision Cancer Medicine Building (PCMB) at UCSF Mission Bay . The contract value is undisclosed. The project scope of work includes construction of a new six-story, 170,000-square-foot adult outpatient cancer center. The PCMB award continues Rudolph and Sletten’s successful history delivering high-quality projects on the UCSF Mission Bay campus.
